      vRx Logs and Other Files Locations

      This article include explanation about vRx logs location and usage

      vRx logs provide detailed information on every action related to the software operations. In the following table, we will review the log file content:

      • vRx Directory: The folder contain all software files, including binaries, libraries, resources and logs.
      • vRx Log File: This log contain the software main runtime logging. including service start / stop procedure, asset scans, installations executed by vRx and many more. this is the main log of the software.
      • vRx Config File: The config file holds per-asset configurations, such as Security token, Proxy value (in encrypted manner), endpoint tags and much more. this is an editable file.
      • vRx Installation Log: This file contain the installation configuration and output. please note that this installation file holds the output for installations only. Asset agent updates are not included in this log.
